Texworld USA: Almost 1000 Visitors on Lenzing Seminars!
The Edelweiss®-Effect
Lenzing Modal® Edelweiss is the only Modal-fiber complying with the worldwide highest environmental standards. Consequent use of the potential of integration on its production-location Lenzing in combination with innovative procedures supporting environmental relief are leading to an energy surplus and the production of fine chemicals from wood. The Lenzing chemical pulp production facility does not need any imported energy, in the opposite the plant is an energy-provider by itself. This is why Lenzing Lenzing is a pioneer in the wood-refining industry. All applied processes are not commercial and have been developed by Lenzing. In general the thermal utilization of the wood components is CO2-neutral.
